Enjoy Good Eats, Brews and Beats at Hershey Brew Fest
If you’re a beer enthusiast with a love for live music, mark your calendar for the second annual Hershey Brew Fest on Sunday, September 8, from 12:30-5 p.m. This beer and music festival is the perfect way to spend an early fall afternoon by combining the best of local and regional brews with a lineup of fantastic live performances.
The Hershey Brew Fest is hosted at the beautifully restored Englewood Hershey, an iconic red-roofed barn dating back to 1861. Once a dairy farm that supplied milk to Milton Hershey for his famous chocolate, the barn has undergone a massive renovation to become the stunning venue it is today. The renovation project was carefully executed to preserve as much of the original structure as possible, seamlessly blending historic charm with modern amenities. The main space now serves as a 650-person event venue, ideal for large gatherings. Guests also can enjoy an outdoor deck that overlooks the scenic grounds, a cozy patio space with a fire pit, and a lower level that houses a restaurant and brewery.
This year’s Hershey Brew Fest will be held both indoors and outdoors, so you can explore the spacious grounds and enjoy the fresh air while you sample a wide variety of beers. With each ticket, you’ll receive a souvenir tasting glass for savoring samples from each of the participating breweries. For those who want an even more exclusive experience, the VIP package offers early access to the event, a complimentary lunch, and a discount on merchandise.
The day’s entertainment features live performances on stage by three incredible acts: TreeYo Acoustic, who will bring you a mix of classic rock, 90s hits, alternative, and top 40s covers; singer-songwriter Bret Alexander, known for his heartfelt lyrics and soulful sound; and What Would Jerry Do?, a tribute band dedicated to the legendary Grateful Dead. These performances set the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of beer tasting and good times.
In addition to the brews and tunes, the fest will feature a variety of vendors and food options to keep you fueled throughout the day. Don’t miss the brewers panel discussion, where you can hear directly from the experts and learn more about the craft behind the beers you’re tasting.
With the motto "Eats, Brews, and Beats" at the heart of this event, you’ll find everything you need for a great day out. And to make your weekend getaway complete, consider staying at the nearby Londonderry Inn and Estate. Just a short drive from the festival, our luxurious Victorian inn offers stately accommodations in a charming, cozy setting that allows you to relax and enjoy all the festival has to offer without the rush.
