Just a short drive from Londonderry Inn and Estate, the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum is one of the most prestigious car museums in the country. In fact, it's a Smithsonian affiliate! Featuring dozens of beautifully restored cars spanning eight decades, the AACA Museum's collection illustrates the historical evolution and future impacts of American transportation. If you like muscle cars, the museum has a special exhibit running through mid-April 2024 that features the golden era of muscle cars to today's high-performance machines — Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, Chargers and more. The AACA Museum is also home to the Museum of Bus Transportation, the largest collection of buses under one roof in the country, and the world’s most extensive Tucker collection.
Located in nearby Lancaster County, in the heart of Amish Country, is Barry's Car Barn. Owner Barry Baldwin invites you to come take a trip down memory lane with his personal collection of classic cars, hot rods and automobile memorabilia. Having grown up working at a garage with his dad, Barry has been collecting cars since he was young. He has a special affinity for American muscle cars from the 1950s to 1970s. If you like Corvettes, Barry has 15 of them. From a 1930s Packard Phantom Limousine to his most expensive vehicle, a 1967 Shelby 500, Barry's Car Barn gives visitors a fun glimpse into America's motoring past.
